The starting point
Context
ECOBOX is an internal reference platform dedicated to eco-design at Airbus Defence & Space. The project emerged from a clear observation: the resources, tools, methods and data needed for environmental assessment were numerous, but scattered across different tools and platforms. This complexity made them difficult for engineering teams to find and use. Before designing the solution, it was therefore essential to understand this ecosystem, its different stakeholders and how they used these resources.
The Mission
Goal
Creating an experience capable of simplifying access to a complex ecosystem. The goal was to centralize eco-design resources and enable each user to quickly find the information, tools, methods or training relevant to their needs. The design therefore needed to be based on the actual needs and workflows of engineering teams, rather than simply organizing the available content.

Designing a clear architecture and user journeys tailored to the different use cases identified. • Navigation structured around user needs • User journeys designed for Assessor, Learner and Explorer profiles • A platform centralizing tools, methods, data and resources • Interfaces designed to make information easier to find and support user autonomy
Final result
A clearer and more structured digital experience, designed to simplify access to resources and support teams throughout their eco-design processes.
